Dresses....

After a long break from sewing (not by choice, but as we have been away) I have finished a few dresses of late. I actually finished this first dress (Frida by MODKIDS) a couple of weeks ago & was really happy at how it went together -- very easy.

This second dress has been created from vintage linens - I think my favourite fabric to sew with. The floral section is one of my many favourite sheets & the top half is made from recycled seersucker placemats. I have to laugh at Em's teapot pose - I don't know why she does it, but it makes me giggle every time :)

beautiful dresses Claire! Love the colours you put together.
I really need to sew more with my vintage fabrics, that second dress is very inspiring!

Oh my niece looks lovely in her dresses! The tea pot pose is great to. Now you are back you'll be able to get sewing again, yay!
