BAGS - To sell or not to sell??

I have finally made some bags..it has been so long & I really love playing around with different styles & fabrics. These are just a few that I have finished - made out of new, vintage & recycled fabrics. Not too outrageous, but it was a start.

I have been thinking of selling them, but I am unsure of the best place to sell them - markets or online??

What do you think ?
Sorry, I don't think I am cut out to be a bag model :)

May I ask what you think the difference is in regards to selling online or "just at the market"?

I should think if they are good enough to sell, they are good enough to sell anywhere?! ;)

In my opinion, I think they are really funky & original, I like the first & last ones the best, but only you will know for sure if they are "good enough".

No help, am I? ;)

I think my problem with online is that I worry about my photos - I am a hopeless photographer.
I also don't know if there is a market for the type of bags I make online. If so where is best? Etsty? madeit? I really don't know.
It is not a quality issue.
Thanks so much though Vic :)

Definately 'to sell'!

They're really great Claire. I think Etsy is a good place to list them but I really think you should try a market with them. Seeing IRL would make all the difference.

They are lovely. That 3rd one is divine! Give selling a go girl. Nothing to lose...

Hehehe - what they said! ;)

(I seem to be following Tas around with that one lol)

What does it cost to list on Etsy... 20 cents US? Give it a whirl I say! And you already do markets don't you? Just take 'em along! I bet you'll be pleasantly suprised! :D

Thanks everyone. I haven't done a market for a long time & when I did it wa for kids clothing mostly. I am thinking of doing one close to christmas so may give it a whirl....

They look gorgeous Claire. I love the greeny one (what's new!)
Go for it at the market-nothing like real life, but it wouldn't hurt to try them in your Etsy shop. I love markets, but find it hard to get to them that often.
