Remember the vintage sheets......

That I blogged pictures of a few weeks back? Well I randomly took a few from the blues & greens & in a mad sewing frenzy late one night decided to try a bit of rough - no measuring or using rotary cutter - too impatient for that - log cabin patchwork. I am at a loss whether to do more of these squares in different colour ways & make up a quilt or to make this into a cushion?? What do you think?

do a quilt! I know you have more than enough fabric to make an awesome quilt or two! I have been collecting vintage fabrics for this exact purpose, was the log cabin easy to do?

Naomi - I found it really easy - esp when I was being rough & not accurate (I am not very good at being accurate even when i try). I had never done it before & found I just had to look at one to know how.
BTW - if you need more vintage fabrics - you know where to ask

Hehe... you are like me - I am not a fan of measuring and what not - that stuff isn't fun at all!!

That looks really cool and I am tempted to agree that a quilt would be awesome, even though I don't particularly "get" quilting, but I know yours would be funky (or spunky lmao) and unique!

Hmm, feeling very inspired to give this a go now! Easy sewing is what I need, especially when it looks this good. Thanks for the fabric offer:) Will keep it in mind.
